About Future Climate Collective Future Climate Collective empowers teens to understand climate change, process eco‑anxiety, and build the skills and agency to design climate‑positive futures. We partner with schools, community organizations, and climate professionals to create meaningful learning experiences that turn concern into action. Role Overview Future Climate Collective is seeking a motivated Volunteer Social Media & Marketing Contributor to support our mission of building climate‑literate and climate‑resilient youth. You’ll work closely with our Director of Marketing to develop and execute digital campaigns that grow our audience, elevate youth voices, and showcase our programming. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about climate, youth empowerment, and storytelling to build hands‑on experience while giving back. What You’ll Do Support development and execution of social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) Draft posts, graphics, and short video concepts aligned with brand voice Assist with content scheduling and community engagement Identify trending topics and relevant moments in climate + education Help track basic metrics and audience growth Collaborate on outreach and promotional materials for events and partnerships What We’re Looking For Passion for climate action, sustainability, youth empowerment—or all three! Experience or interest in social media, marketing, communications, or design Strong writing and communication skills Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently Canva or similar design skills a plus (not required) What You’ll Gain Portfolio‑building work Hands‑on strategic and creative experience Opportunity to make a real impact supporting teens + climate education Letter of recommendation available Commitment ~3–5 hours/week, flexible scheduling.
