A Brief Overview

This is a team lead position that is responsible for leading a cross functional team towards successful deliveries of IT solutions.

This role is eligible to participate in Zeniths hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Selected candidate must be able to report into the Woodland Hills, CA office on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs as Scrum or Agile Master for multiple small teams or one large team.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning.
• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
• General understanding of technical issues within a team.
• Forms and maintains strong business and stakeholders partnership based on total transparency.
• Applies principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.
• Respond positively to direction and feedback on performance.
• Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor.
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training/experience required
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience required
• Must be or have been Certified Scrum Master. required

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience required

Skills and Abilities

• Basic understanding of QA practices and tools.
• Basic understanding of development practices and tools.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Sharepoint, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player, self-starter, motivated, and multi-task oriented.
• Ability to prioritize work requirements.
• Skills for Internal/Zenith Employees
• Good understanding / demonstration of Scrum framework and tools.
• Demonstrates basic Business domain knowledge in at least 1 area (Policy, Claims, Other).
• Demonstrates basic Application knowledge in at least 1 system.
• Understanding of fundamentals of agile practices.

The expected salary range for this position is $99,454 -$111,885. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
